I’m not a religious man. I, however, don’t have the crazy belief that science must obliterate religion ( COME ON IT’S AN UNREALISTIC DREAM–RELIGION IN HUMANS IS A PRIMAL INSTINCT–It’s not going away anytime soon). I settle for it to be out of our public schools and government. Maybe one day there will be an age free of religion when mankind can live in servitude of their fellow human beings, guided by a moral code that is based on humanism.
We are one race with one common ancestor, we inhabit a frail biosphere which we like it or not we are the stewards of the planet, each generation faces new challenges–each must do better than the preceding.
Maybe an epoch will arise when Religion will evolve. Maybe it will be an elegant fusion of science and faith, not my preference, but people define their way in this we must trust.
Whoever becomes the new Pontiff I hope that he ( dream on for a she, but that’s another story) has the fortitude to clean the church. He must stop sheltering the vilest of creatures on the planet–child molesters. In this I must have faith, not likely but hey it was not likely that Russia was going to be bombarded by meteors— you never know.

The first paragraph is projection. All piss and vinegar. Does not play well with others.
The second paragraph is also projection, Creating an apparent argument where there was no such argument. Will not play well with others. Attempts to prove a point by arguing.
The paragraphs that followed suffered. They plodded around the assumptions created by rightthinkingone, but since there was really no basis for an argument, nor a debate, it was wasted energy on their behalf.
The final two paragraphs are wasted energy as well. First a book sales pitch, I wonder if they are actually doing a disservice by attaching that to their comment? After the way they composed themselves in their comment, to think that it would be a good idea to throw in a crutch in the end to help their pointless rant stand on two legs… No, nobody here is going to buy that book, let alone read it.
The last paragraph is interesting because they wrote “usual,” this is interesting because this is the first time I’ve ever seen them post a comment here.
And in essence this is every comment he has made.
