Why is it always gotta be up to me?
Where is everyone? 😦
Greetings! It sure is slow tonight.
Hi, Neb. I’ve been very busy, but wanted to check in. I HOPE folks are out partying or doing something fun. How are you?
Oops! I posted my response in the wrong box.
Hi, MsBadger, they’re all out partying.
It is good to see you! I sure hope everyone is out doing something fun. Maybe they all ditched us and went to a party?! I’m doing good, my back is bothering me, but other than that all is well.
Fun…. I think I remember fun! 😛 I may have to re-learn it, seriously. You guys help! 😀
I think you’re almost out the rut. I see now that you have all the wheels out of the mud and soon you will be on your way back to where you were before. Badgers in Conestoga Wagons settling the West!
This is how Capt. Kirk celebrates St. Patrick’s Day, neb. https://sphotos-b.xx.fbcdn.net/hphotos-snc6/205299_628180883878035_1199259361_n.jpg
Hiya, HH….. Leprechauns are kind of a funky memory, no?

HAPPY ST. PATRICK’ DAY—What’s left of it.
Mr. Angel! Good to see you! How is your day going, well what is left of it?
It hasn’t even started here. [hic}
I have food going in the kitchen. BBIAB….
Bring back peanut brittle.
Have you heard about David Patreaus?
No, what’s up?
The U.S. Media has buried this deep, I mean really deep: http://www.guardian.co.uk/world/2013/mar/06/pentagon-iraqi-torture-centres-link
I gotta take time to read that well.
That revelation stinks to high heaven, it also leads me to question the way it has all been handled as of late.
Blast it when computer batteries will be good for 30 days on one charge?
I bet they will be really expensive. I think we will have a solar powered laptop before that type of battery.
Well I could have used one today—what have you been up to?
Not much, I pulled a muscle in my back during sleep, it has been bothering me the past few days. Today, I’ve been studying Latin, I took it in high school and I really liked studying the Romans, but the language I really didn’t care for at the time, I did somewhat well with it but I’m nowhere near the point of being able to fully translate a piece, some sentences are easy, but the way the words have different tenses and cases gives me trouble. I want to be able to decently translate it into English, also studying it helps with understanding English better.
The priesthood can help you with that.
Oh! I know you’ve got some things you wanna let out about the priesthood. I’ll pass on that suggestion though.

I agree with the last thing you wrote. I still haven’t posted a comment there, it has been almost two months now, the only activity I’ve had was to favorite a comment M Cubed wrote tonight.
M Cubed! That is who. It is Most Magnificence Cubed to you, pal.
What?! Did you change your own comment or did the page reformat that?
No —I had clip part of the binary before.
You should have clipped the whole thing.
1968? Zowie. Hey, when I lived in Cambridge, MA Spock was on my street filming “The Good Mother”. He was the director.
He is a man of many talents!

Good evening, good sir.
St. Patrick’s Day. Hope you’re having a Happy one. I’ve got a Smithwick’s in front of me. Here’s a little Irish banjo music. Gerry O’Connor http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3OmeMz32tIM Bag o’ Spuds
The dude shreds on the banjo.
Excellent! Saved in my faves.
I saw him at Irish Fest last summer. He was so good I watched him twice. I was probably at this performance, just a little bit to the left. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=e42HMlkX2pA
I would have loved to have seen that. You sure do get to a lot of performances and festivals. I used to play in a band that featured Celtic music, but we didn’t feature banjo, even though we had a couple of people who could play banjo. We had fiddle, mandolin, bodhran, lead guitar and I played 12-string rhythm guitar and sang, along with another lead singer.
Hooray! Do accountants retrieve beers from the fridge LIFO or FIFO? 😉
I can speak for all accountants but for me it’s always FIFO, and I think CPAs who have adapted IASB can no longer take beers from the fridge on a :LIFO basis. Wow, that’s going way to accounting wonky. It’s only really makes sense if you understand that under IASB as opposed to FASB, there is no LIFO.
I occasionally will have a beer at work.
NOT THE LEPRECHAN! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EGa3R9VvDVs
I should write a poem about the Leprechaun, I’m slipping lately. I’ve been trying to write poems about Holidays and I’m behind on this. I wish Mike Myers would make a few more movies, I miss his humor.
Greetings, Honorable Nebdem!
Greetings. Cpad! It is great to see you. How fares your evening?
We’re just chilling – watching T.V.
How’s everything in your world?
All is well, just another night living the dream!
Hey there, girlfriend!
That’s a cute clip.
Do you have plans for St. Patrick’s Day?
Bike ride to Stanford campus then a jog around Lake Laguanita with some friends. Its a small lake, mostly dry bed now on the Campus. Then lunch there perhaps or a smoothie at the Student Cafeteria.
You must be very fit.
I don’t really like to jog but they wanted too. Nice day for a bike ride to Stanford. Its only about 9 miles I think.
I remember last year for St.Patrick’s Day the news was that Obama had a pint of Guinness and all of the trolls stew.
I like Guiness. I haven’t had it in ages. I like it on tap, but not so much from the bottle.
I’ve heard it is best in Ireland that it doesn’t travel that well. My cousin interned at a bank in London and went over to Ireland to visit some relatives.
I once read that the lore behind St. Patrick’s Day, that he drove out all of the snakes is a reference to the Druids in the country who often had tattoos of snakes on their arms.
Just imagine how many snakes there was over the weekend at CPAC?
I could neither watch nor read about CPAC. Just a few glimpses of some headlines. Can’t believe crazy wack Palin was there.
It is curious, the lore behind the St. Patrick thing. Never gave it much thought until now. Can’t really remember what the Catholic church drummed into our poor brains about it either.
I remember reading about it last year, I have a few books about Ireland and they discuss Saint Patrick. It is an interesting story, I need to find that book and write something about him soon.
