hey cobalt, what did you hear from the doctors, about your joints?
He says I have polyarticular inflammation and has put me on steroids to get me some relief, which they have. But, the steroids are only to treat the symptoms and only temporarily. Taking them, long term, degrades your bones and wipes out the immune system. I’ll finish these in a few days, hopefully the effect will last a while, because I can’t stand the level of disability that comes with this condition. It’s really miserable. I’ll be seeing a rheumatologist to try to find the root cause of my problem. July 1st was the earliest I could get an appointment with him, but I’m on a cancellation list, just waiting for the phone to ring.
Until I know what’s going to happen, long term, I’m refusing any new commissions. I turned away two potential clients this week. Told them I’ll contact them when I’m ready to accept new work, but didn’t tell them why.
Glad the steroids could make it easier, if only on a temporary basis.
I am so sorry to hear about your struggles. Hugs, and prayers to you, my friend.

The Original Star Trek show was revolutionary and groundbreaking, perhaps spacebreaking would be a better term. The show was so powerful that it influenced a lot of writers. One of those writers whom wrote for the Outstanding Star Trek; Deep Space Nine even took his talents to breath in new life to a dumpster-bin franchise, the one you love so dear was written by the greatest that came from the Star Trek universe.,
You would make a great TEAPUBLICAN. You know the BSG is a true groundbreaking show. Even acknowledging that the writer went to BDG —so what happened did he all of a sudden lose his talent? No it was the he was given a more 3D platform and that’s why BSG is better.
And to BIB ST had a gay actor ( a dime a dozen in hollywood past and present ) not a character, BSG had an openly gay main character.That is groundbreaking not scrawny looking Klingons.

What happened is that the writer for Star Trek was so sought after for such an excellent job of writing stories that the people from BSG approached him and bowed down to Star Trek, then kissed the Star Trek Emblem. It was only after that that they got permission to use his talents.
