Shit like this scares me,
They’re all certifiable. And dangerous.
Hi, tg! How’s your day going?
It’s good. Glad tomorrow is TGIF.
I recently saw an article where Ted Cruz said the country needs a religious revival.
I think it needs a Reason Revival.
No. Religion is messing this country up.
Amanda Bynes is messing this country up, her and A-Roid.
Let them regroup and find a platform, whatever it is will be based on greed, hate and ignorance—all the better for Dem to spank them.
Every time I think I’ve seen the final edge of total batshit these people can reach the push the frontier further still! Laughed when I read they want to “Write articles on 4th grade level!”, yes of course so their constituency can “understand”! Well more power to them to dig their own graves the faster, and deeper!
“The Frog Who Crushed the Planet”
(Greg Palast obviously has little use for the French…. but, otherwise, this is a good article, IMO.)
“This week, US prosecutors finally began the trial of the only person on the entire planet whom they have charged with the financial crimes that sank worldwide stock markets by trillions in 2008 and left millions homeless and jobless, from Detroit to Manchester.
Amazingly, say prosecutors, it all came down to a single Frenchman, Fabrice “Fabulous Fab” Tourre, only 29 years old at the time. Even Julius Caesar waited until he turned 51 to bring the known world to its knees.”
Here’s the story which his defence team does not dispute:
Thanks for the link, Termgirl!
From that link:
“Blankfein hailed himself for, he said, “doing God’s work”. God did well. Blankfein’s bonus in 2007 brought his pay package to $69 million for the year, a Wall Street record.” SMH
What happens when those who commit the most gravest crimes and engage in the most illegal fraud do not get held to account for it? Which is why it is really sick that simple things can get people arrested, yet these people have somehow gained immunity.
Well… they know they can keep getting away with it….
and if people suffer, they don’t care, as long as their own pockets are lined.
Somehow it seems that white collar crime is more palatable to the public than street crime, even though, when you look at the big picture, white collar crime is far more devastating to greater numbers.
I agree. It makes no sense at all. What is this guff? Are the inmates running the asylum? It sure looks that way.
Well, it’s not like the crimes were committed by “those people”, you know. Wink, wink…
CBDP SOB’S. The whole lot of them.
You know it!! CBDPs to the hilt!
God does his own work. Those others are wannabes, like zimmerman
We need a bigger sled.
The pigs are always hungry. Hence, ‘greedy as a pig’.
We could run them up into the woods and leave them there also?
A good read the only french I care for is a plate of Frog Legs Provençal. Looks like the US looked for the least connected sap to put this on. We know they want the big fish swimming free.
Except….. the frog legs.
you gotta try them they’re delicious.
They taste like chicken. 😉
Big Fish? Their owners, you mean. One must at all costs protect one’s owners. 😛
gotta have a scape-goat for the usual suspects to walk away with their millions and billions at the real people’s expense.
Underrated band, well at least now-a-days.
They really are a great band.

I like her.
I would dearly love to hear Claude’s take on this one! I can almost see the snark dripping like honey from his keyboard.
Don’t underestimate the insanity of Kentuckians.
I never do, but this one ~may~ be able to capture the votes of both the women and the saner men. It’s one to watch.
Thanks, Sis!! About time someone took the shell off that turdle.

What flavor? it matters.
Acid would be my guess.
Who says Congress doesn’t care about minorities….?
They have a 17% approval rating.
The Republicans do so poorly when they’re the minority – they obviously need more practice. As in, obsolescence.
LOL. Hear, hear.
Snowden may be on the move in the next couple of days: http://www.washingtonpost.com/world/europe/snowden-to-be-given-permission-to-leave-airport/2013/07/24/edc64f1a-f463-11e2-aa2e-4088616498b4_story.html?tid=pm_world_pop
I was reading that he may be staying on in Russia.
You’re correct: http://www.pbs.org/newshour/bb/world/july-dec13/othernews_07-24.html
I read earlier that Lindsey Graham wants to place sanctions on the country that accepts him.
Miss Graham . . . sheesh. Words escape me.
She has her knickers in a twist, again…………..
Use Klingon words!

That’s the one! 🙂

Love the music, Cobalt!
I started watching “House Of Cards” on Netflix. I love it! Spacey is perfect in his role!
He’s an intense guy.
I love his monologues! He is a cut-throat politician.
Back when he played Mel Profitt I knew he was going to be a major actor. One of the single most interesting villains of all time.
He has a knack for it! Have you seen the movie “The Shipping News?” I really like his acting in that movie.
I’ve heard it was good, but haven’t seen it no.
That is also a great book. I love his voice, he is wonderful doing narration, his monologues on House of Cards are priceless!
For Shutterbabe, wherever she might be. My love to you SB.
I miss her. 😦
Sending my love, too – hope all is well, Shutterbabe. XOXOXO
Hopefully she returns.

Such a waste!
Where is this place, cg?
I have no idea – the site doesn’t mention the location.
Noway! 50¢ owed that at one point it was huge, they needed golf carts to get around—yeah I saw it on MTV Cribs.
Our fire is up to 750 acres … in only 6 hours.
Is the wind still heading NE?
Naw, there’s no wind.
Holy, Jebus! Stay safe
It’s frightening how fast it can spread.
That is not good. Stay safe
I miss Jay Bennett, rip, my man.
WILCO – MONDAY:http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jg6GOrJMRds
Probably, he died in his sleep. Some think it was by choice, it was never made public. If you watch their film, ‘I’m trying to break your heart’, you see how he was fired from the band, It broke my heart, he was a talented soul.

Have you ever heard of Jason Molina, Cobalt? He died a few weeks ago after years of alcoholism. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=malJUMz2A9Y
Sad. Some people just get in it’s sway. I’ve know a lot of them, some now dead as well.
That’s too bad.
Just did some reading what a shame.

Good night, CBD.
Sleep well dawg!
Good night, Cobalt – sweet dreams, be well.
Love and peace to you.
Hi, Haruko. How are ya?
Oh, new fire. 7 miles away.
Hope the winds are taking it away. Seven miles is way too close.
Hiya, Caller! Ewww – what happened to you?!?
I’m pretty burnt. Long tough day.
I can see that – any plans to make a run for it?
Plans? I got lots of plans, just none that make sense.
End of the page hellos. LOVE and big hugs to all my friends!
Hi, Snoy! Long time, no see!
Love and hugs, Sno! It’s good to see you!
Great to see ya, Sno!
Been workin pretty much 7 days a week. A bit better this week, slower business as folks are getting to the end of the month. I get to play golf tomorrow in a benefit scramble. I get to play about 2 times a year, so it should be fun. All the money goes for scholarships. Last year, our small town gave out $24,000. pretty good for a small town.
I hope your partner isn’t Bob Barker. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wHWurusOw68
I hope you have a great day – the worst day of golf is better than the best day at work? Very cool about the scholarships, too! Pretty good, indeed.
Good morning dear friends!
Hello. everyone turned in for the night?
Hi Fi and Neb.
It seems like it. How goes your day?
Just started, hubby has gone off deep sea fishing today and tomorrow.
So you alone have to wait on Angus. Sounds like a tough job. What is for breakfast?
Oh I’ll cope, bacon and eggs this morning, with sesame seed bagels.
How are things with you, any work at all?
No work at the moment. Things are going good though, positive thoughts Fi. They make the world go round.
Watched an interesting prog last night, called Superhomes it was about the homes of the disgustingly rich, and boy oh boy some of them were off the chart, however, the journo (or whatever he was, hosting the prog) asked one estate agent what Nationalities buy these mega homes, and he was going thru’ the list, when the journo said “no Americans”, the agent said that in the grand scheme of being rich, Americans Millionaires/Billionaires are now the poor folk of that particular group, he was saying their wealth is nothing compared to those in China, Russia etc now, they may be mega rich withing the borders of the USA, but not within the big wide world.
Now that would explain a lot about what the focus of the Repubs on making the 1% even richer across there!
I believe it. Interesting, Fi.
The wealthy in America rely upon the cover from Congress. They can pretty much get away with anything if they have financial clout. Sometimes it is too depressing to think about.
Sorry I nodded off—anyone home?
Hi Jack, nodding off a bit myself.
Well looks like I came in after prime time—at least there are no reports of sharknados nearby.
