    Good Morning,
It’s cooler here today, but the ground and plants are so wet, I can’t do much outside.
Looking at the 5 day forecast we could get rain EVERY DAY until Thursday.
That’s great if you are germinating seeds, not so much for cutting the lawn.
My Datura is just about to open a bloom, and has 4 other buds.

In all our orange tall ginger, we have at least one of these white flowered gingers that’s blooming outside our kitchen window.

it’s GORGEOUS, I want to spread it around the yard. My cullinary ginger is thriving.

    Good morning, Realm
On October 16, Newark, New Jersey, Mayor Cory Booker will face a Republican politician and activist named Steve Lonegan in the special election to replace the late Sen. Frank Lautenberg.
    Introducing Steve Lonegan:
    1. “I have a handicap, you know. I am a white guy running in the state of New Jersey.”
    2. “I’d hate to see you get cancer, but that’s your problem, not mine.”
    3. On Romney’s 47 percent comment: “It was the boldest thing he said in the campaign.”
    4. Social Security is a Ponzi scheme and “the biggest single threat facing America today.”
    5. A Spanish-language McDonald’s billboard was “divisive” and “unfair”…because it was written in Spanish.
    6. Don’t feel sorry for Hurricane Sandy victims because “every day, around this country, somewhere, somebody is suffering a tragedy of equal or worse impact and we don’t run and hand them a check.”

(During the 60s and 70s it was said that a lot of people were angry….. and I believe that was true, and with good reason.
Today, a lot are just MEAN. There’s no good reason to ever be mean, as far as I’m concerned.)
Sorry to be on a rant so early in the day.
Hope you all have a good one.

thanks for the quotes tg…what a vulgar hateful F___

Well isn’t Lonegan a ball of radiant sunshine.

I remember watching the Iran-Contra hearings,
and even though I didn’t agree with some of the conservative members on that committee… they, at least, gave the appearance of being statesmen, and both Parties showed a level of courtesy to the opposition.
Now there are just a number of raging idiots,
or, at best, mediocre voices. I do think Elizabeth Warren has the potential to be a great Senator… but she needs to be ever on her toes in dark parking structures.

Illustrious Captain Poco has left me in charge while he is away. Look alive you mangy tick ridden mammoths! I want this ship looking spotless when he returns. So get a-movin and start scrubbing the deck, clean up the galley and repaint the plank, because when the Captain returns we are going to have a feast and then someone is going to walk the plank!

“Security expert hacks Mark Zuckerberg’s Facebook page to expose a site vulnerability after no one would listen to his warnings about the glitch
Palestinian hacker Khalil Shreateh discovered a glitch that allows anyone to post to a stranger’s Facebook wall
After Facebook ignored a report of the bug Shreateh sent, the hacker posted to Zuckerberg’s wall and got a speedy response
But Facebook won’t pay the normal $500 bounty to Shreatah because they say his intrusive methods broke the rules”

Then he disappears – typical of a Klingon, he’s probably scratching his flea bitten Ridged forehead.
