I just read another similar story, won’t post about it. Makes me just plain hate the human race all the more, the truly foul despicable things people do… Time for some serious genetic engineering, time for a new race to replace this degenerate one.

  7. BoyInBOYCOTT says:

I’m slowly learning the movie maker, I need to study more about adding the transitions, and getting the music adjusted to the correct length, but it is fun to play with.

    • Jack says:

I can tell you imovie sucks, well it does not I just hate clipping adding sound clips and crap.

      • BoyInBOYCOTT says:

There are videos for instructions of Windows Live Movie Maker, it’s just a lot to learn in one viewing. I like making ringtones for the videos, keeping the sound close to the length I need. I think publishing without sound, then grabbing the right lenth sound is a good path, then I can tweek the length of each photo.

    • captainpoco says:

lightworks is very good but maybe a bit too advanced. i could never figure out how to use it properly.

    Hello, Realm.
Have to get ready for work in a few minutes, but thought I would share this.
    Have a good day. TGIF!

I really wish this guy would retire to Happy Valley or some such place, never to show up on a Sunday talk-show again. On the other hand, on some issues he seems more reasonable than the current crop of Republicans, and that’s scary.

    • MSII says:

no doubt he has strong ties to the military-industrial, and crony-contractors…Sure they’re lining his campaign coffer well!

  14. BoyInBOYCOTT says:

I read a lengthy article about the lack of hurricanes, which finally cocluded with “we don’t know, we may be in a weather pattern we’ve never charted before.” I think it was last year they said the lull was only temporary and as soon as Sept and Oct arrived we’d be in a normal hurricane pattern of 6 named storms and 3 significant hurricanes.
I’m NOT complaining about a calm season, hurricanes are AWFUL, (and something a guy raised in MN, had no experience before KATRINA hit.) Gustav convinced me I’m NEVER staying here for another hurricane, I’ll beat feet it to the Arkansas border lickitty split.

      hey jack, tg, and MS

      • Jack says:

Read about your hurricane fears. Can’t imagine going through that once and not uprooting.

        • MSII says:

Went through 2 floods years ago (lived right on the Susquehanna, very beautiful, lots of wildlife), the first wasn’t good, the second was -bad- (killed my next door neighbor), that was it! Much as it was nice there the floods, wow, and death! It’s getting scarey the “extreme” weather! I have relatives in Florida, every “season” you have to worry about it down there, the state is so flat and just waiting for the waters to rise and wash everything away… and of course the koch-funded deniers fight to keep anything from being done, and the teavangelicals just hunger for their mad-gods “return”, and the end-of-all-things…

    • captainpoco says:

      sorry man, was working out.

      • Jack says:

I gotta start hitting the free weights soon. so far I have been on machines.

        • captainpoco says:

I really missed it when I was injured. Getting back into it now, started incorporating things like dumbell press into my rotation. Great underrated exercise. everyone obsesses over regular benchpress weight but try a 50kg dumbell press and a lot of big guys struggle.

          • Jack says:

Yep. dumbbells are great for working out imbalances, isolating the weaker muscles. Under layers of fat and beginning to see my serratus,Too bad that bulking up season is coming up.

  18. BoyInBOYCOTT says:

    hey poco
Found a nice bunch of free fonts, Airstream seems close to the Let’s Do It, Riesling, Marcell, and Parisian are coming to rest in my files too.

  19. BoyInBOYCOTT says:

I’m a good guesser, the Airstream font is the exact match to the “Let’s Do it”

Okay time to get to work see you in a bit.

  22. bubbagumpy says:

In April 2013, near Idlib, Syria, rebels took 7 prisoners from the Syrian army, beat them, executed them (a violation of the Geneva Convention and international law), then buried them in an unmarked mass grave. Unlike the gas attack of August, this event and who did it aren’t in dispute as the video is publicly available from the New York Times. So will President Obama hold them equally accountable as the gas attack? Who are the good guys in this Syrian civil war and why are we taking sides?

WARNING: even though censored, the video included in this report may still be disturbing.

    • MSII says:

… only good-guys are the ordinary citizens who want peace, food, shelter, some security. don’t think there are any good guys as far as the “sides”. it’s just ugly to-it’s-core. A lot of crazy-evil people on both sides doing evil things for religion and power,.. nothing new especially in the middle-east.

      • bubbagumpy says:

Well said, MSII. I’m all for helping people get out of Syria, to Turkey and Jordan plus any place else, and helping them. But inside Syria, there just isn’t anything constructive we can do, as far as I can see.
