I have to admit, that is a cool picture!
You gotta love Han Solo grinding an axe like that. Still, he looked better on the wall.
Han used to be an Imperial Soldier before becoming a smuggler.
He’s rebel scum, plus he shot at me that one time I tried to cordially invite him to dinner on Cloud City. Bam! out of nowhere! He always shoots first, but I appreciate that so I kept him in the band. Also it’s very difficult to find a droid that can play Stairway to Heaven.
Han still has a role to play. I wonder what they plan for his part in the new Star Wars movie? That they’ve casted the original actors for the movie gives the impression that they will have small parts, they shouldn’t! They should use them as the basis for the first of the new movies. I would like to see them all get equal or the majority of the screen time instead of some new actor or actress, it would be a trip to watch it because they are reprising after almost 40 years!
Luke and Leia are grandparents, Han and Chewy have FINALLY come-out (it’s legal now!), and the Ewoks are still at that party they started after the Death Star II exploded.
They could do a few things with the story along those lines! They have a few books that are set immediately following the Battle of Endor. Perhaps they begin with her giving birth, then go into hiding because of some new threat?
To be honest it would be nice to see a scene where a Vorcha Class Battlecruiser destroys a Star Destroyer or even one of the Calimarian ships. That would for certain earn my admission fee.
Saving that wallpaper!
Already had a saved theme close in color tones, so I desktopped it. Awesome.
It’s a great background, everything taking place on one side and all.

Interesting editorial. I have had the thought of asking whether the idea of a Middle Class is after a historical anomaly? In the case of the U.S., the Middle Class prospered due to the complete devastation of every other country after World War II.
Interesting thought. Not only was US infrastructure essentially untouched, but the gigantic war machine that turned out Liberty ships and bombers by the hour was a primed pump waiting to produce “stuff” for people to buy.
70-years on, overseas labor and infrastructure is more than sufficient to support industry so in search of profit companies have the option of offshoring to reduce costs.
What I keep wondering is when the American population is reduced to subsistence level is the emerging Asian market (India, China) sufficiently large to consume all of the stuff Americans will be looking at through guarded glass windows in shops they can’t enter?
Or will a new paradigm emerge – hopefully without the cost and destruction of a worldwide conflict?
I think they have a good sized population to give it the appearance of being able to sustain, but they will eventually reach a point where they have to make the grand decision in which they allow their economy, capitalist ventures in a Communist country (China), or the social mobility through a caste in (India). A free market place requires individual liberty, both countries are hesitant to concede. This makes them unreliable in my opinion, because eventually the economy in at least one of those two countries will be racked by internal problems due to the stress of it all.
So what is new?

Angelo Badalamenti ~ New Shoes
Visited a mall last nite for first time in over a year, they’d just fertilized the carpet with something “organic”.
Was a shoe-store with studded boots that looked like they’d fit a 9 year old… I will never understand “fashion”…
I like the newer ultra light shoes, feather wt.
Yea new shoes rub a foot the wrong way.
They’ll break-in eventually.
I have these feet for sometime already.
While they rest kick back and watch a Western: http://youtu.be/z-iQzXKT870 🙂

I watched a weak movie last night, “Arena,” with Samuel Jackson and some no-name wannabe tough guy playing the lead. It was about firefighter who lost his wife in a car accident, then he is kidnapped and forced to fight in a gladiatorial game on the internet, like something in the Roman Coliseum, but it was in a regular room that had green screens surrounding it, like a holo-deck in 2-D. It was weak let me tell you. It had nothing positive, I should have turned it off because it was too graphic for the sake of being graphic, it ended stupidly, thankfully I fast forwarded through most of the movie.
On a brighter note: I started watching “Coriolanus,” which is also on Netflix. Coriolanus was a Roman General. Plutarch wrote about him, a great quasi-biography if you ever get the time to read it. Shakespeare wrote a play about him.
The movie is set in the modern era. Coriolanus is played by Ralph Fiennes, another character is played by Gerard Butler. I’m halfway through, but it is a neat rendition of the story. I’ve never been big on Fiennes, but he is great in this one, explosive!
Netflix needs more choices.
You are a learned man, Mr. Nebdem.
Thanks, LZ! Sorry about the late response.
