    Albuquerque voters reject abortion ban
“Today Albuquerque voters respected women—and sent a clear message here and across the country that voters reject callous attempts to take away complex, personal decisions from women, their families, and their faith,” said Adriann Barboa, Respect ABQ Women Steering Committee and Field Director for Strong Families New Mexico. “We won in part because of the strong, diverse local organizations that have pulled together, year after year, to ensure justice for every New Mexico family.

Supreme Court refuses to block Texas abortion restrictions
A majority of Justices on the Supreme Court have refused to temporarily halt a provision of a Texas abortion law that is expected to prevent a third of the state’s abortion clinics from providing that service. That means the law will immediately go into effect, pending an appeal expected to take place in January.
Texas Governor Rick Perry celebrated the ruling. “This is good news both for the unborn and for the women of Texas, who are now better protected from shoddy abortion providers operating in dangerous conditions

Oh you must! I have zero interest in motorcycles, and “bikers” but the characters are fascinating, and the stories. and Peggy Bundy has serious acting-chops no-doubt!

Luv that show! That night was DEVASTATING! The death! Poor Tara, I’m 100% behind her, she’s just doing what she has to do to get her kids away from all that DEATH and HORROR! I thought for a second in the car to the hospital that Gemma was going to have a moment of realization and realize the truth of this, and maybe back her on getting the kids away.

      • majorwiblit says:

        Next week,,,season finale
What do you think Tara’s gonna do??????

I just find it hard to believe that those people wouldn’t be careful about that bullet, so the fact that she has it… Somebody is going to notice it’s missing if they haven’t already…. I’m wondering if the fact that she has it isn’t some kind of test by Jax.

Decision time for Tea Party movement in U.S. political contests
(Reuters) – After a string of setbacks and losses, the insurgent Tea Party movement is at a crossroads, between learning to live within the Republican Party or pursuing its fight against those it sees as not conservative enough.
With important mid-term congressional elections coming in November 2014, the Tea Party is under pressure from within the Republican Party to call off their insurgency and focus on the end game of defeating Democrats, rather than bruising primaries to clobber Republicans, some of whom could be in close contests to keep their seats.

“Are they interested in toppling Republicans or winning elections? If they don’t win some elections they’re probably going to die on the vine,” Republican strategist Ford O’Connell said.
