Dood, read about your day at work. My heart goes out to you. You’re having what Churchill called ‘a black dog day’. I don’t know how you do it. For me, being around people helps, the black dogs don’t seem to like crowds. They’re happiest when the catch us alone.

only the gop-pers could be so batshit as to have said these things….

    • There is a Republican obsession with rape that is truly startling to me.

It’s like they don’t want to acknowledge that rape really does actually exist.

        they are sick mofos

        • msolomon2 says:

a great deal of deep mental illness amongst those people.

unfortunately, i have irrefutable personal experience here and i find these bastids way beyond the pale. wish i had been on what they’re on when it happened.

read a good book years ago, set in a future where technology has created which allows for sanity to be fairly easily achieved for all (who are willing), always struck me what a wonderful world! Where sanity is in charge! I dream of a world of sanity. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Queen_of_Angels_%28novel%29

              • Ricki Lee says:

Thanks, MS! Looks a great read – bookmarked! I dream of a world of sanity, too, but I fear we will not see it in our lifetimes – and I include that of my kids. The insanitea is so beyond my realm of sanity, I cannot tell you. This shit just sends me on the same plane of their insanity just in the total opposite direction! IF even one of these pols had an inkling about rape and would admit it that would say something to me. My daughter was last summer and could not go thru with the case as laid before her. Me, they never caught the guy. So surreal at this point in time but I will never cease to represent the best interests of the women in this Nation of ours. There is truly a sickness which runs deep within the veins of these pols who need to put a label on rape!!!

                • msolomon2 says:

It is a deep, deep sickness, of this there can be no reasonably, sane doubt. My heart goes out to you and yours for having to deal with such a horrific situation. This should be a -extremely- rare thing in any decent “first world” country, unfortunately it isn’t.

      • msolomon2 says:

well they prove again and again that “reality” in general is not a thing they “believe” in.
