!!!!!!!!HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!!!!!!

2015-Happy-Chinese-New-Year-Picture

Lunar calendar 2015 is the year of  The Goat, The Ram, The Sheep?  The confusion comes from  the interpretation of the Chinese character Yang, that means horned  animals.

There seems to be a preference for goat/ram because when used it means strong with a “quiet spirit,” a sheep is considered softer.

So I decided to call it the Year of Horny Animals—You’re welcome!

Find out more about being a lucky goat at:

Man in ISIS Videos Known as ‘Jihadi John’ Is Identified as British Citizen

LONDON — The man in the black balaclava who seems to have beheaded several foreign hostages in Islamic State videos has been identified by British security services as Mohammed Emwazi, a British citizen from London.

“…Mohammed Emwazi, a Briton from a well-to-do family who grew up in West London and graduated from college with a degree in computer programming….”

To stop terrorism, the White House wants a jobs program? The President thinks a guy from a wealthy family (and a college graduate) is angry because he is poor and without a job? Me thinks that jobs idea is not gonna work.

It won’t, Bubba – there is a serious ideology disconnect at work. If that goes unaddressed, no forward motion is possible. It makes me think, oddly enough, of Nancy Reagan’s statement that kids should “just say no” to drugs.

    Chris Christie is political toast.

Cause of his charred presidential prospects: an unreformed state pension system. I know that’s disappointing. Not nearly as exciting as the political near-death experiences that went before. We were hoping the next disaster would be something like Governor Yells at Elmo. Or a reprise of the day he chased a guy down the boardwalk while waving an ice cream cone, this time maybe featuring Tom Hanks or Ruth Bader Ginsburg.

Jack, your Internet Countdown timer is at 27 minutes.
Let’s hope sanity prevails when the timer runs out.

At an under-the-radar town hall in Des Moines, Sanders had the crowd begging for more. Here’s why it matters

“Is the support out there for a progressive candidate? One man said, “I think people are ready for a champion…if you are a champion for our issues, people will follow you.” One woman had driven four hours to see Sanders, and assured him the support is there. One by one all agreed that they would support a progressive candidate.”

The support is absolutely there, therefore the media will seek to marginalize him if he makes to big a fuss. The same thing they did to Howard Dean. Ridicule. It won’t surprise me if he makes a real effort at it he gets the ‘crazy old man’ treatment.

I so wish he could run – and win. But, it’s such a long shot.

This is why we can’t have nice things…

Ajit Pai is dissenting and fearmogering big time, claiming title 2 will increase rates and limit access. What a load if crap

      “OBAMA’S PLAN MARKS A MONUMENTAL
      SHIFT TOWARD GOVERNMENT CONTROL
      OF THE INTERNET.
IT GIVES THE FCC THE POWER TO
      MICROMANAGE VIRTUALLY EVERY
      ASPECT OF HOW THE INTERNET
      WORKS.
IT’S AN OVERREACH THAT WILL LET
      A WASHINGTON BUREAUCRACY AND
      NOT THE AMERICAN PEOPLE DECIDE
THE FUTURE OF THE ONLINE WORLD.”

and by “American people”, he of course means Comcast, Verizon, etc.

    • Darth says:

Michael O’Rielly is no better, he just called the concept of neutrality a “regime”.
      somebody shoot me.

      • Darth says:

Obama nominated both of these guys BTW. All 5 of them actually. I suppose there’s supposed to be balance, but jeez… He sounds a tad unhinged.

      • Darth says:

Listening to this guy’s speech… I haven’t done anything this exciting since the last time I heard grass grow, or listened to paint drying. Good times.

  10. Darth says:

    Tom Wheeler:
“THIS IS NO MORE A PLAN TO
    REGULATE THE INTERNET THAN THE
FIRST AMENDMENT IS A PLAN TO
    REGULATE FREE SPEECH.
    [APPLAUSE]
THEY BOTH STAND FOR THE SAME
    CONCEPT: OPENNESS, EXPRESSION,
AND AN ABSENCE OF GATE KEEPERS
TELLING PEOPLE WHAT THEY CAN DO,
WHERE THEY CAN GO AND WHAT THEY
    CAN THINK.
THE ACTION THAT WE TAKE TODAY IS
    ABOUT THE PROTECTION OF INTERNET
    OPENNESS.”

And this is the lobbyist! wow, this makes me even more skeptical. Anyone out there in internet land have a link to the title 2 rules regarding this? They haven’t been made public yet as far as I’m aware of? I’d like to see the fine print.

  11. Darth says:

The ayes have it, title 2 imposed. now the details….
