Watergate Hotel parking garage collapses, people unaccounted for http://www.nbcwashington.com/news/local/Crews-Responding-to-Watergate-for-Report-of-Collapse-302150191.html

“D.C. Mayor Muriel Bowser confirms that some people may be missing following a three-story collapse at a Watergate complex parking garage Friday morning. “Not everyone is accounted for,” she said.

“A source on the scene said two construction workers may be trapped in a truck in the rubble. Authorities are trying to find them, but the area may be too unstable to extricate them immediately”

Chris Christie ex-ally pleads guilty in Bridgegate scandal http://www.politico.com/story/2015/05/david-wildstein-to-plead-guilty-bridgegate-117549.html

“The lawyer for a former ally and high-school classmate of Chris Christie said Friday that the New Jersey governor was aware of the September 2013 lane closures on the George Washington Bridge, contradicting Christie’s longstanding denials.

“Mr. Christie knew of the lane closures while they were happening,” attorney Alan Zegas said.

More information about what Christie knew when is forthcoming, Zegas said. In a letter published in January 2014, Zegas previously alleged that the closures were the result of “the Christie administration’s order.”

NASA: EM Drive shown to work in space-like vacuum (fascinating! If proven true could be revolutionary!)

Wow. “EM Drive’s thrust was due to the Quantum Vacuum (the quantum state with the lowest possible energy) behaving like propellant ions behave in a MagnetoHydroDynamics drive”

That’s the same principle that was used for theoretical submarine propulsion. Tom Clancy used it for the caterpillar drive for the Russian ballistic sub in “The Hunt for red October”. But that’s fiction, the Japanese actually built one but it doesn’t go very fast.

I want to see them get some kind of test unit up into space and really see if it really works. This could be absolutely huge.
