Bernie wrapped up another energizing rally in Lexington KY this evening. Their primary is May 17. I’m glad that he is continuing in a straight forward manner to get his campaign issues out in front of all the voters, so everyone has a chance to vote for him and make their voices heard. One person, one vote. Everyone’s vote counts.

This is an excellent article in its entirety. Here are some excerpts

KING: Bernie Sanders would be Donald Trump’s worst nightmare – NY Daily News

Hillary Clinton is perhaps the worst possible Democratic candidate who could ever run against Donald Trump. I sincerely believe he could beat her in the general election.

Bernie Sanders, on the other hand, would give Donald Trump fits in a head-to-head match up. Let me break it down.

1.) Like Donald’s other fallen foes, Hillary Clinton represents the political establishment.
2.) Hillary’s millions of dollars worth of paid speeches to banks, lobbyists and billionaires cede a certain moral high ground to Donald Trump.
3.) Independent and new voters are flocking to Bernie Sanders and even to Donald Trump, but not to Hillary Clinton.
4.) Hillary’s reliance on millions of dollars from SuperPACs is a real problem.
5.) Young voters are crazy about Bernie Sanders and just don’t care Hillary Clinton.

Bernie has consistently said that he does better in every poll in a head to head match up against Donald Trump than Hillary does. The non-partisan fact-checkers at Politifact found this claim to be accurate.

In one new poll, Trump actually leads by 2 points in a race against Hillary. In another, she’s just up by 3 points against Trump. Bernie beats Trump in every poll and by larger margins.

This race isn’t new anymore. People know enough about Bernie Sanders, Donald Trump and Hillary Clinton to make an informed decision. I believe these polls are accurate. The team at FiveThirtyEight stated that they believe the polls between Trump and Clinton will continue to narrow.

    I need a masseuse.

Highly recommended. I’m visiting my guy Friday at 4! Some people swear by chiropractors. My feeling is that unless the muscles are loosened up, by a good masseuse, they’ll return a chiropractor’s work back to a bad position before you make it home.

You would never have made it as an astronaut. Still watching The Right Stuff. Interesting only because this is when I grew up. I remember I was in first grade (Feb 1962) when John Glenn became the first astronaut to orbit earth.

Our first grade teacher took our class into the eighth grade girls home economics class where there was a television set and we watched live coverage. I remember some of the eighth grade girls crying because going into space was such a frightening concept for them. The space race. What a colossal waste.

Twitter Just Unleashed on Hillary Clinton and It Is Savage

After Hillary Clinton’s upset loss in the Indiana primary, the hashtag #DropOutHillary has been trending all day on Twitter, garnering over 200,000 tweets.

Hillary Clinton is getting blasted on all sides from Twitter users, and many of the top tweets on the #DropOutHillary hashtag are coming from women and people of color — two demographics that traditionally vote for the former Secretary of State over Bernie Sanders.

The @NCForBernie Twitter account alluded to Clinton’s ties to corrupt politicians, like former New York Assembly Speaker Sheldon Silver, a former superdelegate supporting Clinton, getting a 12-year prison sentence for corruption, money laundering, and extortion. Dr. Victoria Dooley’s opposition to Clinton stems from her desire to provide affordable healthcare to patients, while Clinton has established herself as an opponent of Bernie Sanders’ call for universal healthcare coverage. Twitter user @JuddCM expressed disgust with Clinton’s self-proclaimed admiration for Henry Kissinger, who has been widely accused of committing war crimes during his tenure as Secretary of State.

“As democracy is perfected, the office of president represents, more and more closely, the inner soul of the people. On some great and glorious day, the plain folks of the land will reach their heart’s desire at last and the White House will be adorned by a downright moron.” — H.L. Mencken (1880-1956)
