Off To The Stars….Youtube Stars Of Course!

Reality shot:

Wanna hear about golden showers? Ok, President Obama painted himself as the savior of Science. Yet he bailed out financial institutions, the same institutions that jeopardized the world economy, to the sum of 850 Billion Dollars while ignoring his LOFTY promises, hey it was the REPUBLICANS saying “no” what a wonderful excuse to have. Of course NASA had its budget completely raped; who cares the space program of the 60s fueled future economies in the Tech sector, children aspired to be engineers, scientists, Astronauts…what do we have now, kids wanting to be youtubers while working at McDonald’s.

“In early 2010, Obama cancelled the Constellation program (already a reported $10 billion and seven years in progress) and its Ares I and Ares V rockets, the Orion spacecraft, the Altair lunar lander, and even America’s plans to return to the Moon and go on to Mars.”

2017 is shaping up to be the year people fight back the government–I suppose they needed a boogie man ( Undeniably he is a monster) to rise-up and make a stand. I keep asking myself,  why is it that the masses stood mute when the guy with the super smile “RAINED DOWN” on them?

Is it any wonder we ended up with Trump? We deserve TRUMP!

The fact that the rich asshole Tom Brady is whining about a missing Jersey makes me hate sports pricks all the more.

  2. misterx27 says:

Trump is probably listening to these legal arguments with his eyes glazed over<your previous President would have a good understanding of the arguments, but would never have made such a stupid mistake

DNC race hits the home stretch: Bernie Sanders blasts “failed status-quo”; Keith Ellison attacked on Islamic faith
Proxy war between Clinton and Sanders is out of the closet, and a minor candidate is booted for remarks on Islam

    • Darth says:

With all the establishment butt he’s been kissing too. He should know by now that corporate Democrats are ruthless. One wonders who, or what, is pulling Tolliver’s strings.

      • Jack says:

Both Bernie and Ellison should have known as you say, “that that corporate Democrats are ruthless”, Bernie going way back. He likes the abuse. I’ll support anything he can get done but as a leader, no fucking way—Ellison is a joke.

        • Darth says:

It’s very telling that they still attack him considering the pandering he’s had to do. He thinks he can affect change from within. Good luck with that. It’s rotten to the core. The Democratic party is now the Hatfields vs McCoys, only it’s the hawkish pro-corporate Dems vs the slightly-less-hawkish populist Dems. Meh.

          • Jack says:

My problem with Bernie is that I don’t think he really wanted to be POTUS. He is happy pontificating and getting nowhere. What they did to him in the 90s they let him run for something I forget at the moment then as part of their deal he was to decline the position….he’s been their bitch ( sorry folks sometimes one has to get dirty) for so long I think he is suffering from Stockholm syndrome.

All of that is politics and to be expected as unsavory as it is but IF THE PEOPLE grew some testicles ( or ovaries ) and voted out some of the entrenched perpetual NEOLIBERALS then the party might fall in line again—I always put it on the people.

  4. Darth says:

If Washington gets the chance they’ll subpoena Trump’s tax returns in discovery. I’d bet money on it.

“Purcell cites public statements from Trump and his top advisers as sufficient evidence at pleading stage to go forward. He hints that if they get to discovery they may find more stuff in private communications among government officials.”

THAT BIG EARED PPOSER!!!!!!!!!!!!! If I was there I would have crashed 3x more than he did!!!!!!!!!!!!

      • fancykat says:

HA! He’s finally able to have fun. The Secret Service never let him do these fun things. I probably would not have even tried.

        • Jack says:

GOOD I LOVE THE secret service for not letting have fun for 8 years.

          • fancykat says:

Shame on you Jack. He still has secret service but I guess he’s safer out of the WH.

            • Jack says:

Hopefully he can get his head right and do something with the life he has ahead of him, seriously I always wanted to like the guy, he just kept doing stupid stuff that had nothing to do with the Republicans.

              • fancykat says:

He will do something besides have fun. He’s young. We’ll not see the last of him. He also did some good things Jack. 😛

                • Jack says:

Yes but I don’t see the value of just looking EXPLICITLY at the good things he did considering he really failed to be a true democrat. If we only talk about the good like people do in so many insular bubble sites we set ourselves for future failure.

Why can’t my cat do this?

  11. Jack says:

Ok I could not find the detailed account that listed the sordid faustian deal, had you bothered to read the realm, yes I’m sure I was a Jewish mom in my last life, you would have remembered how the scumbags bullied Bernie.

    This link mentions it briefly:

“As when he was in the U.S, House, Senatorial candidate Sanders made a curious deal with the Vermont Democratic Party: he agreed to be listed on their primary ballot but to decline the nomination should he win, which he did.”

  12. MSolomon2 says:

Fact-checking isn’t enough. To fight the far right, the media must spread the truth
again I have to say well duh! – we do have to somehow return to Truth! Need to somehow enshrine it as it once was. Truth in “News”, Truth in Journalism.

Richard Hatch, Battlestar Galactica’s original Apollo, dies at 71

  14. Classical Gas says:

“Investigative journalist David Sirota has backed out of the job to lead True Blue Media — the David Brock brainchild pitched as the Breitbart of the left — as its new CEO.
“As you know, I was thrilled to initially accept the proposal to work with True Blue Media because I believe in nonpartisan accountability journalism. However, the circumstances of the job subsequently changed,” Sirota said in an emailed statement. “True Blue Media does not right now have in hand the resources for the kind of independent, nonpartisan journalism I want to continue to do and that is needed to execute on the ambitious editorial strategy that we agreed on. Therefore, I have decided to turn down the job. I wish David Brock all the best.” ”

    • Jack says:

I may forgive him and I’m not sorry one bit I trashed him at his home base. They would have cannibalized him.

    • Darth says:

You gotta wonder how this went down. Did he see the office and realize there is no office? It’s a political outfit, there’s no money for any of that “accountability journalism” nonsense, they’ll want red mead for partisans and lots of it. Did he finally figure out Brock was using him? Did he foresee his career and reputation circling the drain? Maybe all three? I really wonder. Smart move at any rate.

      • Darth says:

*red meat, but mead works too, lol

      • Classical Gas says:

Indeed – he’s smart enough to see the writing on the wall. “Breitbart of the Left” – HA!

        • Darth says:

You’d think, right? In other words: fresh fake news. Brock excels at that. Seriously though, I wonder if he finally got a look at the budget. Shoe-leather journalism costs money, sometimes with no return. Laptop trolls that spin news generate clicks. I can guess which Brock provided for.

          • Classical Gas says:

Investigative journalism also takes time, it’s not an option to a Twitterpated jerk like Brock.

  15. MSolomon2 says:

House committee votes to eliminate independent election commission

As Trump falsely claims widespread voter fraud, Republican-led committee divides along party lines over group meant to help states improve voting systems

    step-by-step ever further into total reich-wing neo-feudal corporate-fascism.
