Happy Mother’s Day!

My mom was a free spirit; had the looks of a Hollywood starlet; yep it skipped one generation for me; like all good moms her gifts were love; safety; stability. She was also a real pisser if you got on her wrong side but those instances were far and few because people loved her as their own, to this day I have not been able to replicate her magnetism and I’m one lovable bastard as you know.

But out of all her gifts; the greatest gift was infusing her sense individuality in all her children. Sure most will argue that if should be her love but that was a constant, a given, so how can I think go it as something additional to her being?

No one is perfect but no one that knew her cared if she wasn’t, how many people can you say that about?

  2. Fancy Jack says:

Seriously, I think I’m just about to reach my trump limit. Note it has only been 120 days. . .this must be what the right wingers felt like during Obamas first 100 days in office.

It’s a constant assault on the senses. Kind of like febreeze. Is there anything they don’t try to put that stuff in these days? jeez.

  4. Fancy Jack says:

HA! This on American soil, of course you know who OD is more important to the networks because people think they are going to reverse the 2016 election if that person is impeached.

Earlier the talking heads were talking about this and mentioned that he wore the blue suit to “blend in” with the curtains. I got a chuckle out of that.

Yes Comey shaped the Presidency but that is not the only reason Hillary lost to Trump.
Now back to Donald Trump the picture did NOT speak thousand words. Until now we thought that was a mutual hug and almost some kisses from DT .
Great that Comey kept all the details with paper trails which will expose Donald Trump`s corruption, misdeeds and insecurities.

        • Darth says:

We are all dependent on the information we get, which isn’t always true. That being said it wouldn’t surprise me if this was. Bureaucrats like Comey are exceedingly tedious in covering their butts. I take it with a grain of salt. But funny salt, still.

Oh he would a top notch spy after all . And trump is a lunatic and Pence is already getting ready for POTUS 😀

I’ve seen this reported by other outlets that seem to suggest that the statute of limitations had run out. Swedish prosecutor Marianne Ny: “the statute of limitation on this case expires in August 2020”

Julian Assange defiant as Sweden drops rape investigation http://www.bbc.com/news/world-europe-39979343
“Sweden said on Friday it had decided to drop its rape investigation.

Meanwhile Ecuador urged the UK to allow him safe passage out of the country.

The Wikileaks founder has chosen to remain in the embassy as he fears extradition to Sweden would lead to extradition to the US.”

‘Wrong, wrong, wrong’: An expert assessment of Joe Lieberman as FBI Director https://thinkprogress.org/lieberman-terrible-pick-fbi-24348846e19e
“Just 10 days after he fired James Comey as Director of the FBI, Donald Trump reportedly views former Senator Joe Lieberman as the frontrunner to replace the man he fired for investigating Russia’s influence in the 2016 election too vigorously.

Lieberman would be a concerning choice. He would break decades of precedent that FBI directors should come from the criminal justice realm. He holds Bill of Rights protections for American citizens in low regard. And his late-career embrace of the American political right — complete with a move into Trump’s own professional locker room after leaving the Senate — would make for a polarizing and potentially caustic tenure at the embattled domestic security agency.”

    Lieberman’s Trump ties

“After finally retiring from the Senate in January 2013, Lieberman took a large if unintentional step into Trump’s inner circle. The former senator returned to private law practice at the corporate defense firm Kasowitz Benson Torres as senior counsel.

Marc Kasowitz, a founding partner at the firm, has been Trump’s go-to legal attack dog for decades, as the Washington Post detailed last fall. Lieberman’s now-boss has played an especially large role in Trump’s affairs when they pertain to conflicts with the media.”

It appears the POTUS called the FBI boss (the one he sacked) a nutjob and crazy, ya reckon he’s done now?

These things are a thing now.

Fidget Spinners Are Selling Out Everywhere—Here’s Why https://www.realsimple.com/work-life/family/kids-parenting/fidget-spinners-explained?iid=most-shared-4

“The must-have toys, designed as tools to help people focus, are now making parents and teachers’ heads spin.”

“What’s wild about their sudden popularity is the fact that they were invented more than twenty years ago. According to Money.com, Orlando, Florida resident Catherine Hettinger, 60, came up with the idea after seeing young boys throw rocks at police officers in Israel. Hettinger returned to the States wanting to create something that would soothe and distract children. Though she pitched her fidget spinners to Hasbro shortly after getting them patented in 1997, the toy giant passed on her low-tech invention. Ultimately, she couldn’t afford to renew her patent, so when it expired in 2005, other manufacturers were able to get into the spin game.”
