    Dog quotes!!!

There is no psychiatrist in the world like a puppy licking your face.
    -Bern Williams

He is your friend, your partner, your defender, your dog.
You are his life, his love, his leader. He will be yours,
faithful and true, to the last beat of his heart. You owe it to
him to be worthy of such devotion.
    – anonymous

Properly trained, a human can be a dog’s best friend
    — unknown

You think dogs will not be in heaven?
I tell you, they will be there long before any of us.
    – Robert Louis Stevenson

The gift I am sending you is called a dog, and
is in fact the most precious and valuable possesion
    of mankind
    – Theodorus Gaza

If your dog doesn’t like someone you probably shouldn’t either.
    – Unknown

The dog is the only animal that has seen his god.
    – Author Unknown

Dogs’ lives are too short. Their only fault, really.
    – Agnes Sligh Turnbull

Near this spot are deposited the remains of one who possessed Beauty without Vanity,
Strength without Insolence, Courage without Ferocity, and all the Virtues of Man,
without his Vices. This Praise, which would be unmeaning Flattery if inscribed over human
ashes, is but a just tribute to the Memory of Boatswain, a Dog.
    – George Gordon, Lord Byron

If a dog will not come to you after having looked you in the face, you should go home and examine your conscience.
    – Woodrow Wilson

Its easy to understand why the cat has eclipsed the dog as modern America’s favorite pet.
People like pets to possess the same qualities they do.
Cats are irresponsible and recognize no authority, yet are completely dependent on others for their material needs.
Cats cannot be made to do anything useful. Cats are mean for the fun of it.
    -P. J. O’Rourke

There is no faith which has never yet been broken, except that of a truly faithful dog.
    – Konrad Z. Lorenz

A dog has the soul of a philosopher.
    – Plato

“The disposition of noble dog is to be gentle with people they know and the opposite with those they don’t know…
How, then, can the dog be anything other than a lover of learning since it defines what’s its own and what’s alien.”
    – Plato

Dogs are not our whole life, but they make our lives whole.
    – Roger Caras

The more I see of the representatives of the people the more I admire my dogs.
    – Alphonse de Lamartine

Man is a dog’s ideal of what God should be.
    – Holbrook Jackson

“If I have any beliefs about immortality, it is that certain dogs I have known will go to heaven, and very, very few persons.”
    – James Thurber

“The average dog is a nicer person than the average person.”
    – Andrew A. Rooney

“You think dogs will not be in heaven? I tell you, they will be there long before any of us.”
    – Robert Louis Stevenson

“Dogs have given us their absolute all. We are the center of ther universe. We are the focus of their love and faith and trust.
They serve us in return for scraps. It is without a doubt the best deal man has ever made.”
    – Roger Caras

“Dogs are our link to paradise. They don’t know evil or jealousy or discontent.
To sit with a dog on a hillside on a glorious afternoon is to be back in Eden,
where doing nothing was not boring–it was peace.”
    – Milan Kundera

Heaven goes by favor; if it went by merit, you would stay out and your dog would go in.
    –Mark Twain.

God … sat down for a moment when the dog was finished in order to watch it…
and to know that it was good, that nothing was lacking, that it could not have been made better.
    – Rainer Maria Rilke

    Faithful:
With eye upraised his master’s look to scan,
    The joy, the solace, and
    the aid of man:
The rich man’s guardian and the poor man’s friend,
The only creature faithful to the end.
    – George Crabbe.

First ALL governments engage in cyberespionage/hacking. Certainly the Russians are among the worst but this is not new, since inception the word wide web has been a breeding ground for hackers.

Here in the US the government recruits hackers from some of the best universities
    Best Cyber Security Colleges

    Purdue University. …
    Georgia Institute of Technology. …
    University of Washington-Seattle. …
    University of Maryland-College Park. …
University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. …
    University of Pittsburgh-Pittsburgh. …
    Syracuse University. …
    George Mason University.

So here are our own TROLL factories, government hackers and proffecional cyber hackers—-do we need them? Hell yes, the other guys will never stop what they are doing but when one of the major political parties tells you that they lost the election, not because they had a shithole candidate and that they rigged the primary elections, DEMAND TO SEE ONE FUCKING piece of evidence…what, you think it was Donna Brazile or Debbie Wasserman that controled the media, convoluted the polls and manipulated the ballots or did they have help from US hackers ( oops! here we call them Cyber Security Experts) troll factories? Yeah, you know the answer to that.

Is the era of hugging over? Some people sure hope so.

“Girl Scouts advise parents not to force kids to hug family members during the holidays”

It seemed like a perfectly timed message for girls as the #MeToo movement picked up steam.

“Reminder,” read a headline on the Girl Scouts Facebook page late last year. “She Doesn’t Owe Anyone a Hug. Not Even at the Holidays.”

But the reaction was stunning .

“You have gone overboard,” blasted one commenter among the hundreds of fiery responses to the November post. “One, no one MAKES a child give a hug. Two, don’t assume physical affection leads to negative behavior.”

I haven’t seen Black Panther, or any movies at the theaters in a long time as I do work in those places and can’t stomach the idea of going into 1 on my time, but anyway! – SOooooo much great talk/hype am I the only 1 who finds people gushing over royals/monarchy disturbing? The guy is a king, absolute ruler after all… Saw a little article that people were dressing up as royals to go to see the movie… Just what Murica needs more fawning over and out-right worship of the feudals…Feudalism is bad mmkay. Superhero movies can certainly be fun but humanity needs to remove hierarchies and hierarchical thinking for it’s DNA a.s.a.p.That crap worked for our animal ancestors but it’s DEATH for a “intelligent” technological species. There was a series of some good sci/fi written years ago that the author specifically argued hierarchical thinking in a “intelligent” technological species absolutely leads inevitable to it’s anhiliating itself one way or another. I’ve always agreed. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lilith%27s_Brood

Senate Democrats: Stop the NRA. Block concealed carry reciprocity
    https://act.credoaction.com/sign/Senate_Concealed_Carry?t=2&akid=27312%2E13660460%2Ecm8pUG

Every state allows some kind of concealed carry, but 39 states require a gun owner to obtain a permit before publicly carrying concealed weapons in public.2 Some of those states require training before residents can get those permits. Some states block people who have committed violent crimes, domestic abusers, stalkers or people with mental illness that make them a danger to themselves or others from buying a gun or getting a concealed carry permit. Nearly every state restricts residents from carrying concealed weapons in places like schools, hospitals, government buildings or bars.3

The Concealed Carry Reciprocity Act uses the differences between states’ gun control laws to water down protections across the country. It forces states to recognize concealed carry permits issued by any other state, no matter how lax the state’s permitting standards are.4 It will encourage people, including domestic abusers, who cannot get a concealed carry license in one state to “permit shop:” applying in another state with weaker laws and bringing their gun back to the state where they live.5 A resident of a state whose legislature has stood up for public safety and passed gun control legislation would be no safer than a resident of a state whose legislature is in the pocket of the NRA.

be interesting at the least to see how poorly, weakly they manage to stand against this!
