Fuck The NRA!

The NRA was founded in a different world than that which we live in. As a result of the civil war former union soldiers founded a gun group to promote marksmanship training, apparently union soldiers missed more than they hit, education, and gun safety, they were to be reasonable advocates for enthusiasts ( marksmen etc..)

In our times, especially under Wayne LaPierre, the NRA has transformed itself into a dangerous lobby group that should be classified as a” hate group” ( if not a terrorist organization) that has no semblance to the original org. There are many reasons, although looking at other countries statistics mass shootings seem to be an American phenomenon, mass shooting happen but the one UNDENIABLE component is the proliferation and easy access to assault type weapons. There is no real argument that can be made for the NRA’s  push to keep these weapons in the hands of Americans, certainly nothing that was intended by its founders.

The time for a discussion or negotiation with the NRA on sensible gun ownership has long passed, it’s time to hold them accountable and all supporters—-ALL are complicit in every murder committed with these weapons. WE THE PEOPLE need to dictate the future of gun ownership in America not a terrorist/lobby group—Fuck the NRA!

    I repeat, “FUCK THE NRA”.

“A well regulated militia” is one of America’s greatest lies. Not relevant in our times. I wonder if the supporters of that notion would be ok if suddenly Physicians Rx bloodletting as treatment for the common cold.

  3. Tio Azúcar says:

You’d swear the 2nd Amendment read thus,
‘ the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed.’
But it doesn’t, here it is in full,
“A well regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed.”

Where the hell is our well regulated militia??

good question, maybe the reich-wingers think of themselves as it. I wouldn’t be surprised if they tried some such tactic. – or maybe they’ll finally make their brownshirts, that’ll be their militia, oh how that must tempt great-leader-emperor-for-life.

WOW! this is nuts. This in the United States of America!

Man removes feds’ spy cam, they demand it back, he refuses and sues
Camera believed to be part of “Operation Drawbridge” effort to monitor the border.

“Palacios’ ranch is situated at the 35-mile marker due north from Laredo, along Interstate 35, just three miles south of the small town of Encinal. The nearest US-Mexico border crossing is at Laredo.
The precise distance between the border and Palacios’ ranch matters: under federal law, agents can go onto private property that is within 25 miles of the border “for the purpose of patrolling the border to prevent the illegal entry of aliens into the United States.”

In other words, if Palacios’ ranch were within that range, he likely wouldn’t have a case.”

“Apparently, this lawsuit has rang their bell,” Casso said. “On the one hand, it’s good they’re protecting us, but on the other hand, they’re violating the Constitution.”

Enterprise, Alamo, National will no longer give NRA members discounts on car rentals
Three major car rental companies and a bank have ended discounts and deals for National Rifle Association members a week after the deadly mass shooting at a Florida high school.

Enterprise Rent-A-Car, Alamo Rent A Car and National Car Rental, all under the parent company Enterprise Holdings, have ceased discounts for NRA members.

The brands replyied to tweets Thursday stating that the discount would end effective March 26.

Nebraska-based First National Bank of Omaha, the nation’s largest privately owned bank holding company, has also announced that it will stop producing credit cards for the NRA.

While railing against the “elites” of the United States, the NRA’s CEO attempted to slam some members of the Democratic Party for supposedly exploiting the victims and survivors of the Parkland, Florida shooting. The horrific incident killed at least 17 people on Valentine’s Day. Although he claimed to be against the “elite,” the NRA’s Wayne LaPierre didn’t mentioned his net worth or NRA salary.

If you’re wondering, here’s the estimated and not-exactly-blue-collar figure: With a yearly salary of over $950,000, LaPierre’s declared net worth is estimated $10 million dollars. But in his comments at the Conservative Political Action Conference, LaPierre chose not to mention either figure to his audience.
