Medicinal or recreational, Cannabis; Marijuana, Mary Jane, Burnie, Reefer, Weed, Pot, Ganga, Chronic… well you get it.  Legalization has become a fight between the citizens and the  Prohibitionist government that is dead set on ignoring the medicinal benefits and ignores the revenue from legalizing this very sustainable crop. Hopefully science and the will of the people will prevail.

This is wild. You can take a virtual trip down embassy row in DC. Just about every embassy you can think of. The architecture of the building says a lot about the country it represents. Check out the British embassy. The Japanese embassy is about as austere as you might expect

I’m pretty sure we went past this when we went to DC, I was such an insufferable ass the entire trip. The GUY ( it’s a guy no doubts) that owns that Emerald Tesla(?) is asking for trouble:

Today in the UK, is the 1st time ever since the Industrial revolution, that coal has not been used anywhere.
Lets hear it for re-newable energy!

    • Fancy Jack says:

What about the poor coal miners? shit we got Trump in part because people believed the lies that jobs gone 30+ yeas are coming back in the age of automation.

Oh, GAWD! The pro-establishment liberal ObamaGASM on Monday is going to bottleneck the internet:

    “We miss you Mr.President”
    “How handsome you are”
    “Don’t leave us”
    “I’m crying”

and not one will say,” why he fuck is he trying to recruit new NEOLIBERAL scum?”

Obama’s back: Former president to hold Chicago event on Monday
    By EDWARD-ISAAC DOVERE 04/21/17 10:05 AM EDT

Former President Barack Obama will make his first public appearance Monday, hosting an event on civic engagement on his old stomping grounds at the University of Chicago.

The event, open to the public but with limited tickets, will bring together younger leaders and students “for a conversation on community organizing and civic engagement.”

    • Darth says:

Meh, not a big deal to me if he wants to get people involved at the local level. Maybe I missed the “neoliberal scum” only sign.

      • Fancy Jack says:

That’s how it stats man, with all the community organizing.

        • Darth says:

He’s not giving the speech at Harvard or Goldman Sachs so I don’t really see the comparison there. Civic activism is important.

          • Fancy Jack says:

I know just like Cory Booker started…before he took poor folks meds away.

            • Darth says:

So no one should ever do anything then?

              • Fancy Jack says:

Of course they should, that’s the only way they’ll learn most how to become like the aforementioned neoliberal politicians…that’s what bugs me about the article they claim is not political, of course post election and no Hillary to push down on underserved communities it will be a more relaxed venue, but the person himself makes it political.

The true, from what I have experienced, sentinels of communities are the LIFELONG citizens not the politicians. Want to fix communities deal with those elected to serve them. Actually now I’m curious, if he makes it to NYC hosting a similar forum I will try to make it.

                • Darth says:

If you want to deal with elected officials then activism is the way to do that. Look, you know how I feel about neoliberal economic policies and the damage they do, I think we’re on the same page there, but unless he starts promoting it here I don’t see a problem. Just because he shows up and encourages people to be active doesn’t mean he’s shilling the TPP, let’s not get carried away here. Just saying.

                • Fancy Jack says:

The NEOLIBERAL Rawring is venting, mostly. I have been involved in local affairs long ago, and know that the carrot and the stick is not effective with politicos as they are always shielded by someone with an agenda–the best way is to knock them out and find another ass to ride. I don’t think that he will shill TPP at the local level, hell I feel he may want to get back to what made him feel good as a person, that just fills me with ire because that is who he should have been for his tenure as POTUS.

    • MSolomon2 says:

if they’re really going to “have a conversation” I think there isn’t going to be much neoliberalism going on, The People are done with that $hit!

Arrests at Flint town hall meeting addressing water crisis http://www.cbsnews.com/news/arrests-at-flint-town-hall-meeting-addressing-water-crisis/
“FLINT, Mich. — A town hall meeting centered around Flint’s water system ended with six people being arrested on Thursday, CBS Detroit reports.

More than one hundred people gathered Thursday outside the House of Prayer Missionary Baptist Church in Flint ahead of Mayor Karen Weaver’s event.

Inside the church, as the meeting began, Flint police Chief Tim Johnson asked for people to respect one another when they spoke but also issued a warning: “I will escort you out … I’ll take you to the back door and you’re going to jail. I’m not going to play with anyone tonight.”
